Papalia Joins Columbus Office

Holly L. Papalia has joined Eastman & Smith Ltd. as an associate in our Columbus office. Her practice focuses on labor & employment law. Ms. Papalia represents employers in labor and employment matters in state and federal court and before administrative agencies including the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, State Employment Relations Board and Industrial Commission of Ohio. Her practice includes representing employers in labor arbitrations and contract negotiations. Ms. Papalia also counsels employers regarding various human resources issues including employment discrimination, family and medical leave, and wage and hour laws. Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Papalia was an assistant city attorney in the Civil Division of the Columbus City Attorney’s Office, focusing in the area of labor and employment law.

Ms. Papalia received her bachelor of science degree in journalism from Ohio University in 2002, and her law degree with honors from Capital University Law School in 2005. She is admitted in Ohio and to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Additionally, she is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.
